How do I find preschools near me?
Type a school name, area or city into the search box at the top of this page, or pick your city. Each city page lists its preschools and daycares with the areas and pincodes parents search most, so you can narrow it down to your neighbourhood. The Preschools near me page finds centres close to you if you allow your location.
Is Preschools Club free for parents?
Yes. Searching, comparing centres, reading the guides and using the free tools cost nothing, and you don't need an account to browse.
How are schools ordered in the lists?
Rated schools come first, then the most complete listings. No school pays for its place. One centre is placed near the top of city lists where the city has one, and the list says so.
How much does a preschool cost in India?
A typical mid-range preschool costs about ₹6k to ₹11k a month across the cities we benchmark. Fees vary a lot by city, brand and programme, so ask each school for the full fee breakdown, including admission, annual and kit fees, before you decide. The State of Indian preschools report has the city-by-city ranges.
When do preschool admissions open?
Most preschools that start in June open admission forms between October and December, and popular centres can fill by February. Forms are open in many cities right now, so this is the time to shortlist and visit. Some cities follow an April session instead, and city pages give local admission months where we have them.
How do I contact a school?
Open the school's page and use its contact card. The phone number stays hidden until you ask for it: you leave your name, mobile number and email, and confirm the email with a 6-digit code we send you, and then the number is shown. This keeps school numbers away from scrapers and spam callers.
How do schools get listed, and how is a wrong detail fixed?
Most listings are compiled from public sources, such as brand centre locators and school websites. Owners can list a centre for free or claim an existing page, and our team checks every listing an owner submits or edits before it appears. If you spot a wrong detail, use the “Suggest an update” button on the school's page or write to corrections@preschools.club.
What age should my child start playgroup or nursery?
Playgroup usually takes children from about 2 years and nursery from about 3, but the exact cut-off depends on your state and the school. The school admission age calculator works out which class your child fits for a given academic year.
