I've been a preschool teacher for 3 years with a basic ECCE certificate. Deciding between a 1-year Montessori diploma (₹40-60k) vs starting a distance B.Ed. Long-term I want to become a centre head or academic coordinator. Which path have people here seen actually lead to growth?

Centre head roles in preschool chains value ECCE/Montessori + experience over B.Ed. B.Ed matters if you ever want to move to K-12 schools (it's mandatory there for formal grades). Decide which world you want to grow in first, the qualifications don't transfer as well as people assume.

Did AMI Montessori training in 2019. Expensive but it genuinely changed how I teach, and AMI/AMS-certified teachers command premium salaries at authentic Montessori houses. Beware cheap 'Montessori diplomas' though, the market is flooded with certificates that teach nothing.
