Your data, in plain language.

Last updated: 11 July 2026.This policy explains what Preschools.club collects, why, and what rights you have under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect, and why

Waitlist signups - your email and role (parent, teacher, or owner), so we can tell you when community features open.
School submissions and claims - school details plus your name, email, and phone, so we can verify and publish the listing and reach you about it.
Reviews, corrections, and Q&A - what you write, plus contact details if you include them, to publish and moderate community content.
Enquiries and leads - the contact details you submit when you ask a school or us to get in touch.
Webinar registrations - your name, email, and optionally phone and school, to send you the joining link, reminders, and your certificate.
Analytics - we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages visited and approximate location. We do not sell this or any other data.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data. To anyone.
We do not send marketing you did not sign up for.
We do not knowingly collect children's personal data. The site is for adults choosing and running preschools. If a photo or detail of a child appears on the site and shouldn't, tell us - child-safety takedowns are our fastest queue, actioned within 30 minutes.

School listings

Listing pages (school names, addresses, phone numbers, ratings) are compiled from public sources: brand centre locators, school websites, and Google. If a listing shows your personal number or an error, ask us to correct or remove it.

Who we share data with

Only the services that run the site: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Resend (transactional email), and Google Analytics. Each receives only what it needs to do its job. If you ask a school to contact you, we pass your enquiry to that school.

How long we keep it

As long as needed for the purpose you gave it to us: waitlist entries until launch emails go out (or you unsubscribe), submissions and claims for as long as the listing exists, webinar records for as long as your certificate needs to stay verifiable. You can ask us to delete any of it sooner.

Your rights (DPDP Act 2023)

You can ask us, at any time, to:

tell you what personal data we hold about you,
correct it, or
erase it.

The quickest way is our data & listing request form. You can also email hello@preschools.club from the address in question, or use the contact page. We verify identity before acting on deletion requests and confirm by email. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Cookies

Two kinds: Google Analytics cookies (usage measurement) and a login cookie for site administrators. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
