Bachpan Play School
Preschool franchise network in India
Bachpan blends the play-way method with smart-classroom technology: 'where fun and learning come together', and is a familiar signboard in smaller cities and metros alike.
Where Bachpan Play School has centres
Bachpan Play School centres we list are in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna, Indore, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Jodhpur, Agra, Gurugram and Prayagraj, and more. Each city page lists every preschool there, not only Bachpan Play School, so you can compare nearby options before you visit.
Franchise or company-run: what it means for you
Many preschool brands in India grow by franchising: a local owner runs the centre under the brand's name and uses its curriculum, training and materials, while the brand sets standards and checks on them. Some brands also run centres themselves. Our listings do not say which model a Bachpan Play School centre uses, so ask on your visit.
It matters because the people in the building make the school. Two centres of the same brand can feel quite different: the owner decides on hiring, class sizes, timings and fees within what the brand allows. Ask who owns and runs the centre, which parts of the programme come from the brand, how long the teachers have worked there, and who to speak to about fees or a complaint.
What to check when you visit a Bachpan Play School centre
- How many children each teacher looks after, by age group
- Gates, CCTV, pick-up rules and who is allowed to collect your child
- Clean toilets and a hand-washing routine children actually follow
- Space and time for outdoor and free play every day
- How teachers speak to children who are upset or not joining in
- The full fee schedule in writing, including one-time and annual charges
Our free visit checklist has all 13 things to verify, and you can tick them off on your phone during the tour. For what to ask, see 15 questions to ask on a preschool tour, and check your child's class with the admission age calculator.
